A fantastic alternative to in-person sessions that has worked so well for those further afield or who cannot attend our clinic in person.

Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and Clinic Owner.

Jennifer qualified from the University of Hertfordshire in 2005 with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy and started her career at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. Having worked as a physiotherapist in Exeter for over 17 years, as well as spending time working in Adelaide, Australia, Jennifer has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal patients. She is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Jennifer is also a qualified Acupuncturist registered with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Jennifer also trained as a FitBack & Bumps Instructor, which provided her with experience in Ante & Postnatal Physio treatment and exercise for women in their childbearing years.

Jennifer completed her postgraduate MSc in Sport and Exercise (specialising in Sport Injury) at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2011. She then went on to work at the London Olympics and Paralympics in 2012.

In 2013 she decided to embark on setting up her own private practice and Quay Kinetics Physio was born! Her goal was to develop a clinic that enabled patients to receive the highest quality care in an inspiring environment.

In 2016 (alongside running her own clinic) she joined the Spinal Orthopaedic team part-time, working alongside Exeter‘s top spinal surgeons and fellow Spinal Extended Scope Practitioners to provide the highest quality care to people suffering with spinal problems. The knowledge and experience she gained from working in this role has allowed her to provide an even better package of care to her clients.

In early 2021 she left the NHS to pursue QKP full-time due to the success of the business and her passion for providing quality care. She also recently passed her exam to become a Diplomate member of the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine UK.

Whilst Jennifer has worked closely with many elite athletes and sports teams, she takes the same dynamic approach to benefit all individuals, including the recreational sports person and the non-exercising individual. Whether your problem is related to sports, work or lifestyle, Quay Kinetics Physio and Sports Injury Clinic is here to guide you to reach your full potential.
